Francesca Cerdà Mollà is a PhD candidate in Translation and Language Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (2016) and a Master’s degree in Translation Studies (2017) from the same institution, with specialization in literary translation and reception. The Master’s degree was carried out with a teaching support internship.
She is currently a pre-doctoral fellow at the Department of Translation and Language Sciences (UPF), where she teaches courses on translation from English into Catalan, and foundations on translation. She also works as a translator and proofreader.
Her dissertation takes on the literary language model in Joan Fuster’s and Enric Valor’s translations into Catalan.
