Thematic Networks

Resolution 4-XII-1996 (DOGC, number 2320, 30-I-1997, 1047-1048) approved the creation of a Thematic Network of the Grup d’Estudis de Literatura Catalana Contemporània (Corrents i tendències a la literatura catalana del segle XX), [Contemporary Catalan Literature Study Group – Trends in 20th Century Catalan Literature] directed by Jordi Castellanos Vila, of the UAB’s Department of Catalan Philology, with the participation of Enric Gallén Miret, Marcel Ortín Rull and Miquel M. Gibert Pujol.

The group members Enric Gallén Miret and Miquel M. Gibert Pujol, together with Xavier Pérez Torío and Javier Aparicio Maydeu, from UPF, and Francesc Foguet Boreu from UOC, founded the Grup d’Estudis d’Història i Recepció de les Arts de l’Espectacle (History and Reception of Performing Arts Study Group), which created the Xarxa Temàtica d’Orientacions i Tendències en les Arts Escèniques a Catalunya (2003/XT/00035) (Thematic Network of Trends in the Performing Arts in Catalonia) together with other study groups at UB (led by Jaume Mascaró), UAB (led by Manuel Jorba) and UPC (led by Antoni Ramon).

Recognized Research Group

The Grup d’Estudis de Literatura Catalana Contemporània (00149) (Contemporary Catalan Literature Study Group) obtained its acknowledgement as a Consolidated Research Group (Grup de Recerca Consolidat), financed by the Generalitat of Catalonia, according to resolution DOGC, number 2815, 28-I-1999, of 31st December 1998, in the context of the II Pla de Recerca (2nd Research Plan). This acknowledgement was later renewed. The group members Enric Gallén Miret, Marcel Ortín Rull and Miquel M. Gibert participated in it as a subgroup of the Grup de Recerca Consolidat, led by Jordi Castellanos Vila of UAB’s Department of Catalan Philology.

The Translation, Reception and Catalan Literature research group (TRILCAT) obtained its acknowledgement as a Consolidated Research Group, financed by the Generalitat of Catalonia, according to Resolution 2009 SGR 194, of July 2009. The group members are Coordinator Enric Gallén and Professors Marcel Ortín, Dídac Pujol, Miquel M. Gibert, José Francisco Ruiz Casanova (UPF); Professor Sílvia Coll-Vinent (URL); Professor Josep Marco (UJI); and UPF predoctoral scholarship holders Josep Ramis (FPU) and Cornelia Eisner (FI).

In 2014 TRILCAT (Grup d’Estudis de Traducció, Recepció i Literatura Catalanaobtained its renovation as a Consolidated Research Group in Catalonia (2014 SGR 486). It is comprised of Enric Gallén as Coordinator; UPF Professors Marcel Ortín, Dídac Pujol, Miquel M. Gibert, José Francisco Ruiz Casanova, Chiara Chieregato and Caterina Briguglia; Professors Sílvia Coll-Vinent (URL), Maria Dasca (Harvard), Diana Sanz (UOC) and Josep Marco (UJI); external collaborator Josep M. Ramis; and UPF predoctoral scholarship holders Maria Moreno (FI) and Alba Tomàs (FI).

In 2022, GELIT (Grup d’Estudis de Literatura i Traducció), some members of which are part of TRILCAT, obtained its recognition as a consolidated research group by AGAUR (Generalitat de Catalunya, ref. 2021 SGR 00949). The following researchers are the current members of the group: Marcel Ortín (UPF), he is its coordinator, Francesco Ardolino (UB), Marc Arévalo (UB), Helena Badell (UPF), Miquel Cabal (UB), Guillem Cunill (UPF), Maria Dasca (UPF), Ivan Garcia Sala (UB), Rosa Gornés (UPF), Heidi Grünewald (UB), Marta Marfany (UPF), Anna Montané (UB), Maria Moreno (UB), Vanessa Palomo (UAB), Luis Pejenaute (UPF), Rosa Pérez (UB), Dídac Pujol (UPF), Josep Miquel Ramis (UB), María Luisa Siguán (UB) i M. Loreto Vilar (UB); tJosep Marco (UJI) is an external collaborator.The Grup d’Estudis de Traducció, Recepció i Literatura Catalana (TRILCAT) continues its activity as a research group of the Pompeu Fabra University.
